Thesis Project

This untitled project is my exploration of how it feels to live inside a body and to therefore be physically separated from others.

The room-shaped bubble acts as a physical and metaphorical boundary between the piece and the viewer.

The sculpture utilizes multiple kinds of fabric, resin, light, wood, and a duct fan.

Sandbox

Sandbox is a work about memory as an alternative version of reality that lives inside us.

Its deceitful nature is highlighted by a lack of dimension and a distorted sense of perspective.
